At Cabaña Cholinga, you are in the centre of the finest fly-fishing in the world.

Here in Patagonia's Central zone, there are countless rivers, creeks and lakes filled with cold, clean water. At the bottom of the garden is Rio Carrileufú with rainbow trout, brook trout and landlocked salmon.

Drift from Lago Cholila through Butch Cassidy country. Lunch in the fields of lupins. Lago Rivadavia, Lago Verde, Lago Menendez and Lago Kruger are all big lakes joined up by a string of glassy rivers that cut shaded corridors through stunning alpine scenery. Rio Arrayanes, Frey, Desaguadero – and the legendary Rivadavia.

Regulations in the Parque Nacional permit only fly fishing and catch and release.
The season is from October to March. Guides available locally.
